The Complete Kratom Guide

Is Kratom Habit Forming?

If an individual is predisposed to addiction, Kratom like caffeine, cigarettes or any other substance can become habit forming. A small number of people have become dependent on kratom, primarily in Thailand. Kratom is not habit forming when it is used responsibly and in moderation.

The recreational use of Kratom, not daily use, offers very little to no risk of dependency. Like everything, it is not recommended to get into the habit of daily use. Kratom, like many drugs, e.g. alcohol, coffee, or tobacco, when used on a daily basis for a prolonged period of time, could become a habit forming. The use of common sense and moderation is very important. You know your body better than any physician and must be diligent regarding self control. If you have a predisposition for addiction, you must treat everything with moderate behavior including the use of Kratom.
